Hair

The second year at GUC I read a course about scenography and costume making where the main focus was to create the scenography and costumes for the actors in the musical ”Hair”.
Of of my main tasks was to create props for the scene where the friend group crashes a fancy dinner event. The actors that played the adults at the party held wore these (se work in progress-pictures on the left) wood frames infront of them and poked their head out of the hole as to represent them as stiff people.
Materials: fabric, hot glue, acrylic paint, plywood, fake wigs.

Grease

After I graduated I contacted one of the teacher we had when working on Hair who normally works at Uppsala Stadsteater and asked him if I could do a kind of internship with him. He told me that he was working with my old high school again and we later collaborated on doing the scenography together for the musical ”Grease”.
The style was inspired by cartoons and the main tasks that I worked on was making the cars for the drive in movie-scene, some bushed and the car ”Greased Lightning”.
